Denver Broncos Tickets Continued

The Denver Broncos have been consistantly successful since the mid 1970's. From 1977 to 1999, the team made it to the playoff's 13 times and went on to the Super Bowl six times.

1960 - The Broncos joined the AFL.

1970 - The Broncos join the NFL after an NFL/AFL merger.

1977 - The Broncos set a franchise record with 12 game wins.

1984 - The Broncos rack up 13 season wins. Steve Watson and Sammy Winder both have 1000 year seasons.

1995 - Mike Shanahan is recruited as the new coach.

1996 - Under Shanahan's lead, the Bronchos rack up 13 regular season wins and an AFC Western Division Title. Sadly, the team falls to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the playoffs.

1997 - With a 12-4 win-loss record by the end of the season, the Broncos win a wild card berth into the AFC playoffs. They go on to defeat the Green Bay Packers and win their first Super Bowl championship.

1998 - The Broncos win the Super Bowl once again by defeating the Atlanta Falcons 34-19.
