1917 - The Giants lose their 4th World Series in a row.

1933 - Giants win the World Series.

1946 - The Mexican League lures away many of the teams top players resulting in a prolonged losing streak.

1954 - A revitalized Giants capture the World Series.

1960 - The Giants relocate to Candlestick Park.

1971 - The Giants win their first division title.

1976 - Bob Lurie saves the Giants from a likely Toronto move by heading a group that buys the team and keeps them in San Francisco.

1981 - Frank Robinson becomes the first black manager in the NL when he assumes management duties with the Giants.

1987 - Giants win their division.

1992 - Barry Bonds joins the team.

2000 - Pacific Bell Park opens.
